3V [for high-viscosity]

Features

The noise of the pump rises with the increase of discharge rate. Moreover, because the higher the oil viscosity is, the greater noise the pump makes, the speed of the motor and discharge rate are usually reduced to decrease noise. The 3V Trochoid pumps are designed to produce very low noise even when they are directly coupled to a 4-pole motor and are used with highly viscous lubricating oil at a frequently used discharge rate of 60 to 120L/min. A smaller pump with a higher rpm can provide the same flow rate as a larger pump with a lower rpm. Therefore, a 3V pump with a smaller 4-pole motor can be used to reduce the equipment cost.

The pump can be assembled with a special motor (for example, having an explosion proof structure with additional safety) with an output of 1.5kW, 2.2kW, or 3.7kW.
A direct coupling motor model is also available with Models 3LE・3V.
